Reykjadalur Guesthouse was a solid choice for a brief stop in Hveragerði. Nestled near the thermal river, the check-in process was smooth, offering a hassle-free experience. Our room, though basic, was efficient, equipped with an electric kettle and mini fridge, catering to our needs for a restful overnight stay. The serene environment, combined with the nearby hiking trails, provided an excellent backdrop for unwinding. The guesthouse grants access to various recreational opportunities, including picturesque walks and horse riding. It was refreshing to have nature at our doorstep after exploring the area's geothermal wonders. While we didn't engage the staff directly, the communication was clear and efficient prior to arrival. For anyone seeking tranquility and simplicity during their Icelandic adventure, this guesthouse is a good fit. I can appreciate the calmness it brings, perfect for recharging before heading out again.
